A Tesla owner in Florida was captured throwing a massive tantrum in the Galleria Mall in Fort Lauderdale. He was upset that another car owner wouldn’t let him cut in line and charge his car before hers.
The video of the altercation was posted on YouTube. The background story revealed that a woman had pulled into an EV charging station in Galleria Mall and took the last spot left.
Shortly after she started charging her car, a man later identified as Mario Mainolfi pulled up in his Tesla and demanded that she move aside, allowing him to charge. Naturally, the woman refused and asked him to wait till she was done, but the man began to throw a fit, and the woman started recording him.
“Go f*ck yourself! Just move your car so I can charge my car. I just wanna charge my car. Go back to your country. I don’t give a f*ck what you do; I just wanna charge my car,” Mainolfi yelled.
The woman in question responded, saying America is her country and she is a rightful voter, but the accused was adamant. He continued, “Go back to f*cking Brazil. Go back to Brazil, you’re probably illegal… Why can’t you let me in there for a few minutes, and then you can pull it back in? I just want 20 minutes. That makes too much sense to you, right?”
When the other party refused to let him have his way, Mainolfi continued to curse, “F*ck your mother and your father you piece of sh*t.” He then got into his car but later got out again and threatened to have the woman’s car towed.
Following the altercation, it was revealed that when the police ran Mainolfi’s plates, they found it registered to a Toyota Camry, not a Tesla. Upon further investigation, a mugshot was found from when he was previously arrested and charged with “stalking and domestic violence.”
Numerous users on social media reacted to the altercation, calling Mainolfi a “Trump voter,” possibly due to his racist remarks about deportation. One said, “Tell us you’re a Trump voter without saying you’re a Trump voter. MAGA poster child.” Another said, “Ahhh, an entitled Trump supporter. Gotta love it.”
One individual called Mainolfi “insufferable,” another called him “Peak MAGA!” and another chided him by commenting, “Mario, even toddlers understand the concept of waiting your turn! 🤦”
An update hasn’t been provided regarding the situation, and it is unknown if the police contacted the accused.
