As a native Floridian, I have witnessed my fair share of absolutely insane car crashes. Whether they be with other vehicles or through buildings and structures, I’ve seen it all. However, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone in Florida smash through a fence, barrel down a massive lawn, and then ask the homeowner if they could share their information because they’re late to their son’s graduation. Girl, you have more important things to be worrying about right now!
The video depicts a Florida woman who is very visibly distraught, standing in front of a burgundy Toyota that appears completely totaled. As the woman and the man recording talk, you come to the realization that she crashed into his lawn after plowing through his fence. What’s unbelievable is the distance she went after colliding with the wooden structure. In fact, the original poster also posted a video shortly after the events happened, showing the woman getting out of the car to knock on the homeowner’s door.
Despite not wanting to run away from the scene, it’s clear that something strange is going on, as she can be seen asking the doorbell camera if she could have the homeowner’s information so that she can leave and go to her son’s graduation. Realistically, considering the damages to herself, the car, and the fence, I have no idea why she would think she’d be walking away from this so easily.
Fortunately, the homeowner seemed to be rather collected, taking the time to thoroughly record the entire scene. Many commenters notice the man’s calmness, to which one viewer replied, “Everyone talking about how calm bro is. That’s the tone of a man with good insurance. 💁🏾♂️”
Despite the video ending as though things were going to be handled privately, I can’t shake the feeling that we will be hearing more about this woman soon. I mean, you don’t just recklessly smash into someone’s lawn while driving along a straight road.
