Former Florida Attorney General Abruptly Leaves Interview After Being Asked About Deported Migrants: ‘Send Her to Prison’

What a terrible thing to do

It appears that few politicians in the US like the idea of being asked a question that they should realistically know the answer to. When questioned about the deportation of migrants to El Salvador, former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi didn’t respond. Instead, she walked away from the interview, intensifying scrutiny of this administration’s immigration policies.

Unfortunately, the primary reason that the now US Attorney General walked away from the interview is because these supposed immigrants don’t meet the criteria for deportation. In fact, just about all of them lacked any sort of criminal record, which was reported as the reason for their removal from the country.

During a press event outside the White House in Washington D.C., a journalist asked Pam Bondi about a segment on 60 Minutes that uncovered evidence about the migrants who were shipped to El Salvador. It appears that three-fourths of everyone sent overseas didn’t have any reason to be. It’s likely that they were simply targeted for various reasons and were unlucky enough to be involved in this particular situation.

“Pam bondi is a criminal. Send her to the prison”

What’s even more interesting is that there doesn’t seem to be any knowledge on whether those sent to El Salvador weren’t American citizens. It’s been reported in the past that federal agents will arrest people and ask questions later, resulting in situations where those who didn’t break any laws are severely punished. Just recently, a Tufts University student in Massachusetts was wrongly arrested by federal agents despite having a student visa to study there. She was all but kidnapped from the street in broad daylight by authorities.

Shortly after the abduction, local residents organized rallies to protest the presence of ICE in their neighborhoods. It appears that even the commenters on the video mentioned above have a better understanding of American law than some of our policymakers.

“Being undocumented in America is a misdemeanor. It is not punishable by sentence in a foreign supermax prison. You’d think a man with 34 felonies would know that.”

Pam Bondi is well-known for trying to have the details of the Jeffrey Epstein case revealed to the public. The case has over 250 victims detailed inside, though the first phase of the document’s reveal only included scant details and heavily redacted content. Hopefully, she can continue focusing on this rather than trying to ship citizens outside the United States because she thinks that they might have done something wrong.
