GTA 5 is one of the most important video games in history, and whoever worked on developing this game is a big name in the industry. Some former Rockstar Games developers who worked for GTA 5 decided to stand on their own feet. Not surprisingly, a few of them founded a gaming studio, and they’re hiring the best talents who worked for notable titles before. We’re talking about Build A Rocket Boy, the company has been working on a significant hire season lately, and they hired qualified people.
The company was founded in 2016, and they’re still working on its debut game. The expectations are high for the upcoming match Everywhere. It offers a new kind of open-world experience, just like we see in the GTA series. They’re combining the best ways of the GTA’s open-world experience, and the work is even more professional after now.
Former GTA Developers To Join Build A Rocket Boy
The most important thing for the company is knowledge. They’re building a rival to GTA, and the team’s experience is the most significant part of releasing a qualified AAA game. The company knows that, and they hired the old 2K Games and PlayStation developers to make the team stronger. Those names are Murray Pannell, Mick Hocking, and Randall Price. They worked for different big companies before, and they will be working on BARB’s debut title.
VGC says the company has more than 400 employees. This is a significant number for a new company, and it’s also exciting. The offices are based in Edinburgh, Buda Peste, and Los Angeles.
Everywhere’s description is simple; the game offers an experience that allows you to go around and do everything. The company explains the competition with these sentences:
“Players are getting smarter and require more from their games, and we want players to have the real freedom to live in our worlds in the ways they want to,” Benzies said. “We’re aiming to offer a huge variety of game modes and styles that tell our stories and enable players to live in the identities and adventures they most want to explore.”
What are your thoughts about Everywhere? Can it be a rival for GTA 6?
