With Fortnite‘s Spring Breakout Easter event coming to a close, it begs the question: what comes next for the game’s battle royale modes? Thankfully, numerous proven leakers have scrounged up almost everything coming to the game’s next major patch, update v24.20. This Fortnite includes the arrival of Attack on Titan gear and challenges, such as the long-teased Eren Yeager skin. Better yet, those wanting to see new loot enter chests may finally have their wish come true, as a savvy futuristic weapon is rumored to come. Here’s everything expected to be inside the massive 24.20 update in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2.

Fortnite x Attack on Titan Update Details

Eren Yeager and Mikasa make their way to Fortnite in Tuesday's update.

Thanks to the official Fortnite Status Twitter account, it is confirmed that the 24.20 update will be available starting at 3 AM ET on Tuesday, April 11. The post also indicates that the update is delivering the anticipated ODM Gear Mythic, which was first made famous by the hit anime Attack on Titan. Previous teasers have shown that the incoming item allows players to swing between structures, ultimately letting them bounce too far away locations in no time. However, the crossover has much more in store. According to trusted Fortnite dataminer ShiinaBR, the patch is giving players access to an assortment of Attack on Titan challenges in order to obtain the long-awaited Eren Yeager skin and its dedicated accessories.

Additionally, diehard fans of the anime can even get their hands on popular faces Mikasa and Levi Ackerman shortly after the update goes live. At this time, the skins are going to debut through the Item Shop, meaning potential buyers will need to sacrifice some V-Bucks to unlock them.

Although this is surely more than enough new content, ShiinaBR alleges that the loot pool is expanding beyond the ODM Gear. The dataminer suggests that battle royale players could see the update even pack in never-before-seen Reality Augments and a”smart pistol.” The futuristic weapon first caught eye in the initial Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 gameplay trailer, with its ammo shown chasing after moving targets. It will undoubtedly make for an excellent way to gain eliminations and XP fast, but those eager to level up will have other opportunities. The update also serves up new Trial and Weekly challenges, quests that can lead to hundreds of thousands of XP.

Lastly, an abundance of bug fixes may end up in the update. The game’s Trello board identifies the development plans to resolve glitches causing sporadic movement to Back Blings and structures. It also notes it is investigating an issue blocking Android users from accessing Creative maps. Players can expect the full patch notes to release once the update launches worldwide.
