Hireable characters or NPCs were first introduced in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 and the system has been a mainstay in every season since. As you can expect, these NPCs will help you fight and/or give you support when facing other players in the battle royale island — of course, with a price: Gold Bars. In total, there are nine NPC or characters that you can hire in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4, continue reading below for the complete list and their locations.

9 Hireable Characters in Chapter 3 Season 4

NPCs can be hired for 100 Gold Bars each. Gold Bars can be acquired from Chests, Cash Registers, Safes, or Bounty Board Missions. Picking a Bounty Board Mission and hunting after another player will give you 75 Gold Bars for each player you defeat. Of course, keep in mind that this is a particularly risky tactic if you are not confident with your own abilities or how good other players are. In Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4, all nine NPCs you can hire are spread within five different areas, listed below.

Fort Jonesy:

1. Bunker Jonesy
2. Castaway Jonesy
3. Jonesy the First
4. Relaxed Fit Jonesy

All four Joneses are hanging out in Fort Jonesy. Shouldn’t be too hard to spot them, but they do not always spawn in every round.

Reality Forest:

5. Kit
6. Meowscles

The cats are hanging out in The Scratch Pad of the Reality Forest area, around the west of the Reality Tree to be precise. Kit or Mewoscles also won’t always spawn in every round.

Sleepy Sound:

7. Fishstick

You can hire this NPC in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 by going to the restaurant in the Sleepy Sound area, close to the northmost of the map.

Rave Cave:

8. Cryptic

The mysterious-looking guy can be found in the Blimp, walking around the interior of the ship, outside of the Rave Cave.

Chonker’s Speedway:

9. Stash’d

Go inside the garage at Chonker’s Speedway area and you should find the hooded-and-masked guy.

And that is the list of all NPCs or characters that you can hire in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4. Stay tuned at The Nerd Stash for more guides on your favorite games!
