Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 is here, and players can now enjoy and experience all the new questlines, weapons, and outfits. The main questline of this season is the Syndicate, and in order to finish it, you have to first complete a series of tasks like in previous seasons. For one of the tasks, you have to search a computer for evidence of tampering and here is how to do it in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2.

How to Search a Computer for Evidence of Tampering in Fortnite

The Syndicate questline of Season 2 has a bunch of tasks you have to complete, and all of them encourage you to try out the new stuff added to the game like grinding on rails.

One of the last tasks you have to complete is to search a computer for evidence of tampering. This is not a hard task in itself, but it’s mostly confusing for most people on how to actually search a computer.

To get this mission, you have to complete five main Syndicate tasks. Once you’ve done that, you will unlock this mission and also get the location of where you can find the computer you should search for evidence of tampering.

Once you’ve got near the computer, you will get the interaction button all the time, but once you hit it, three categories appear. While it might seem like a puzzle at first, it’s actually not one.

What you have to do here is select any of the personal files like Peely or Stash’d and open them. Then select the Close All button. By selecting this button, you will close the computer and also complete the task you were given.

That is how you can complete the quest of searching a computer for evidence of tampering in Fortnite. Now you’ve completed this quest, and you can continue the rest of the Syndicate questline by talking to Evie or Thunder which will lead you to the last mission of this questline.

Fortnite is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
