Just as the Creative Mayhem ends, Fortnite introduces another brand-new event for the community called the “StoneHeart Trials.” This event is one that anyone can be a part of and has some new cosmetics that can be unlocked. This guide will provide a full breakdown of what the StoneHeart Trials Event is and how to participate in the event in Fortnite.

StoneHeart Trials Explained

The StoneHeart Trials Event kicks off today, February 14, and ends February 20. Anyone with an Epic Games account can participate in the event, but they will need to go to the official StoneHeart Trials website and log in to be part of the new event. Once you have connected your account to the event, you will be able to start getting in-game cosmetics by booting up Fortnite on your system of choice. You will receive the Doomed Affair Spray for just signing up. From here, there are three more pieces of cosmetics that you can unlock during the event, each one being rewarded to you when you receive a certain number of badges. Players receive a badge for every two games they get to the top 10 in the Battle Royale mode in Solos. The progress will not be carried in any other mode, so make sure you are playing by yourself. The other cosmetics are the Hearty Wrap, rewarded at six badges, and eleven badges will get you the Thorns of Passion Pickaxe.

The other part of the StoneHeart Trial Event is the Creative maps. Six up-and-coming French map creators are being featured in the event, with players voting on which of their Creative maps is the best. The Creative map creators are listed below:

  • Darki
  • Mension
  • Edouard
  • Lemoon
  • Volvic
  • Wiskstars

The top three maps voted on by the community during the event will be involved in a tournament on February 20, with the following creators being involved in said tournament:

  • Nanass
  • Joelavanille
  • Xylia
  • MelFishy
  • Maevys
  • Pirastack
  • Blackbird
  • Zetfar
  • Blondiepeach
  • Unchained

Players who cast a vote for their favorite Creative map will receive the last reward of the event, the Grim Devotion Emoticon. You can see more information and the full list of content creators participating in the StoneHeart Trials Event on the Epic Games website.

Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 1 is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS, and Android.
