An easy way to make 80K Battle Pass XP in Chapter 4 Season 3 is by completing the platforming challenge involving Hop Flowers in Fortnite. Specifically, the objective is a Week 5 Quest in Fortnite for bouncing on different Hop Flowers without landing. Like a similar Sumeru Daily that Genshin players might be familiar with, you must stay airborne by jumping off multiple jungle plants without touching the ground. If you can perform this action three times in a row, you’ll receive your 80K XP.
Hop Flower Locations in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3
To complete this Fortnite weekly challenge, you’ll first need to know where to find Hop Flowers. These plants grow on the ground and atop trees at three Named Locations on the battle royale map: Rumble Ruins, Creeky Compound, and Shady Stilts. You’ll find the most growing around the ruins. Note that they appear in the jungle biome areas, specifically to the east of the POI.
How to Easily Bounce on Different Hop Flowers Without Landing
Like PvP-related objectives in Fortnite, platforming challenges can be tricky to complete, as they are primarily skill-based. Moreover, you must perform your hops consecutively. If you touch the ground after perfectly bouncing off the first two flowers, you’ll need to start over. Fortunately, we have a strategy that can help you clear this objective easily.
After you land at one of the three Named Locations mentioned above, scan the area for Hop Flowers in Fortnite. It’s best to start your search atop the jungle trees for better visibility. The tree and ground variants look slightly different but retain their bright orange-yellow bulbs regardless. Next, look for three flowers you can jump on in a row, with the first being a bloom atop a tree.
The idea is to start by hopping from the elevated flower on the tree and fall to the second flower below the canopy. Because you’ve already planned which direction you’re hopping toward after the second, reaching the third should be no problem. Fortunately, you’ll receive no fall damage if you miss landing on these flowers.
To reiterate:
- Start by looking for three Fortnite Hop Flowers from the top of a tree.
- Plan your hopping route, starting with a tree-grown flower.
- If you fail, stick to the same row of flowers, as changing things will force you to adapt to a different platforming route.
Unless you get it on your first try, you’ll eventually get used to the timing and movement needed between each flower. With this strategy, you’ll complete the quest and receive your XP reward in no time.
