Arriving at a Hardpoint in Rocketeer Ruins in Fortnite
This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

One of the High Octane Quests featured in the Fortnite and Rocket League collaboration event is “Reach each Hardpoint in Rocketeer Ruins 0/5,” which requires participants to find five objective locations within a Rocket League-themed map. Rocketeer Ruins is a map separate from the main Battle Royale island players are accustomed to. To access this special zone, fans must navigate to the Island Code screen via the in-game main menu. Next, they must input the code “5620-6416-3977,” enabling them to queue for a match in Rocketeer Ruins. The core gameplay in this map is a racing sandbox-style mode that is much more akin to Roblox than the traditional battle royale of Fortnite.

All Hardpoint Objective Map Locations in Fortnite Rocketeer Ruins

As mentioned above, there are five Hardpoint locations in Rocketeer Ruins in Fortnite that players must reach to complete the High Octane challenge. These Hardpoints are not always accessible on the map but will instead spawn in the same location after being available for several minutes.

Therefore, to complete the “Reach each Hardpoint in Rocketeer Ruins” quest in Fortnite, players must travel to each of the POIs for each o the map’s objectives. Participants do not need to reach the center of the Hardpoint’s rings; they only need to pass through the outer ring to trigger progression for their quest. Hardpoints are not active indefinitely and continuously cycle through during the duration of the round. Therefore, players must keep an eye on their UI, following the direction that the HUD arrow is pointing.

Rocketeer Ruins offers multiple ways to reach its Hardpoints in Fortnite, meaning that players can take multiple routes to arrive at the same objective. After passing through an objective, players are encouraged to collect the map’s coins while waiting for the next Hardpoint to activate, as these coins are also a part of the High Octane questline. While UI clearly shows where each objective can be found, below is an index listing the area of the map where each Hardpoint is located for clarification:

Objective Location on the Map
A – Purple
  • Southwest of North of Rocketeer Ruins
B – Orange
  • Southeast of Rocketeer Ruins
C – Yellow
  • Center of Rocketeer Ruins
D – Green
  • North of Rocketeer Ruins
E – Blue
  • East of Rocketeer Ruins
