The most recent Fortnite hotfix introduced the Battle for Condo Canyon, jetpacks and other new features. One of these new additions is the Egg Launcher being unvaulted after over one year of being unavailable. By the end of this guide, you will learn where to find the Egg Launcher in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2.
Where to Find the Egg Launcher in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2
The Egg Launcher is a limited time weapon. You can find the Egg Launcher as chest loot or on the ground while playing any non-competitive Fortnite match. If you find one on the ground, it will likely be an uncommon or rare-grade weapon. Similarly, if you loot it from a chest, it may appear in any quality ranging from Uncommon to Legendary. However, you are not guaranteed to find an Egg Launcher every time you open a chest or explore the map. If you do not find it in your first match, you may need to play multiple until you get lucky and find it.

The Egg Launcher uses rocket ammunition and shoots out eggs. Like a typical grenade launcher, the eggs will bounce off surfaces and explode after a short period, dealing explosive damage. Depending on its rarity, the Egg Launcher’s damage ranges from 67 to 77. It deals much more damage to structures than other players. It also has an ammo magazine capacity of six.
Similar to its limited-time availability in the past, it will likely go back in the vault after Easter celebrations end. Additionally, despite the Egg Launcher being unvaulted, it is not available in competitive playlists. Unfortunately, if you frequently play competitive arena matches, you will not have access to Egg Launchers, Jetpacks or Bouncy Eggs.
Fortnite is available on PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Android, and iOS platforms.
