Frostpunk developer 11 bit studios have been developing post-launch content for the strategy city-builder for quite some time. They’ve released both the ‘The Rifts’ and ‘The Last Autumn’ DLCs which garnered some critical acclaim from fans. Since then though, fans have been waiting for the mysterious third expansion only known as Project TVADGYCGJR. I’d be a little curious about the DLC with a name like that too. Today though, fans finally know what that project is, now known as Frostpunk: On The Edge. The news was officially revealed in a teaser trailer released to the 11 bit studios Youtube channel.
On The Edge takes place after the Great Storm, with an expedition sent from New London with a new assignment. What secrets will this expedition uncover? Will they be able to survive out in this new, harsh world? You’ll have to find out on your adventures. Be ready though, as there are new challenges to face and unique mechanics to learn. This all should provide a fresh way for experienced Frostpunk players to take on something new and exciting, and we hope you take the opportunity. You’ll be put On The Edge of your seat when Frostpunk’s final expansion releases later this Summer.
