Call of Duty: Warzone and MW3 Season 3 is due to start soon, and the full roadmap of content for both games has been revealed. The new season of Call of Duty is set to bring back a fan favorite Resurgence map, with a bunch of weapons and new 6v6 maps to enjoy capturing the enemy’s flag in them. And as per the previous two seasons, MWZ isn’t the main focus after all.
Warzone Season 3 Content Roadmap
- New Map: Rebirth Island
- Ranked Play Update: Rebirth Island Resurgence + Ranks Reset
- New Contract: Spy Drones
- Rebirth Island Feature: Variable Time of The Day
- New Field Upgrade: Squad Rage
- Perk Package: Specialist (All Perks in One)
- New Killstreak: Foresight
- New Feature: Squad Assemble
- Equipment: Biometric Scanner and Smart Displays

Warzone has received full attention in previous updates, and Season 3 is no exception. For the old fans of Warzone 1, Rebirth is coming back. You get to rank up with your mates in this Resurgence map and get new contracts, features, and a Killstreak called the Foresight.
Like before, weapon trade stations are coming back to the Rebirth Island. And you’ll get to have the Specialist as ground loot or inside the hidden bunkers, allowing you to have all the perks in one. There are also two new pieces of equipment available on this map, called the Biometric Scanner and Smart Displays. However, no official info on their functionality is announced.

Jumping into the MW3 and Warzone Season 3 shared content, we have the new weapons on the roadmap. MORS and BAL-27 are two returning guns from the Advanced Warfare era, leaked a few days ago. FJX Horus is probably the game’s new SMG, and Gladiator is the melee weapon for all the Ninja players out there.
If you’re a fan of DO Double G and CoD, you’re a lucky player. MW3 and Warzone Season 3 roadmap has just the operators you like in the Battle Pass, featuring Snoop Dogg, Banshee, and Hush. The two last operators are some of Vladimir Makarov’s mates in the Konni Group.
As for the 6v6 maps, we’ll have 4 maps coming with the Season 3 update, while the other two will be available when S3 Reloaded launches next month. And as Sledgehammer games had teased nearly a month ago, Capture The Flag game mode is coming back alongside One In The Chamber. Escort and Minefield are also the two new game modes coming in the mid-season, with no further info available at the moment.
MWZ S3 Content
- New Story Mission
- Another Warlord
- New Dark Aether Rift
- Fresh Schematics
Like previous updates, the MW3 Season 3 roadmap shows the least amount of content for the MWZ. As always, there’ll be a new story mission with a cutscene at the end. A new Dark Aether rift that you need to pass an easter egg to unlock. Another Warlord is on the map, and last but not least, there are some new schematics that you can unlock in the new Dark Aether rift.
As of right now, there is no official info to confirm the PvP mode coming to MWZ. However, there’s still a slight chance that PvP would come to the MW3 Zombies in Season 3, or probably in Season 4.
Call of Duty: Warzone and MW3 Season 3 will start on April 3, 2024.
