The Glee actress spoke with ET on Tuesday, April 4, about the hit revival and her plans afterward.
“Oh my goodness, I’m gonna just spend as much time with my son as I can, and rest,” Lea said. “And let my body just recover from doing this show, and be a mom of a 3-year-old.” The Broadway star shares son Ever with husband Zandy Reich.
Lea also shared a little update about her son, who was hospitalized last month, noting that he is better now.
Lea Michele Is Touched By The Achievements Of Funny Girl
Luck smiled on the show when it started to record rave reviews and break box office records last year. Lea also got critical acclaim for her act in the Broadway production.
Lea touched on the accomplishments and said she’s still processing these “amazing” and “incredible” feats.
“I really try hard to take a moment to process these amazing accomplishments along the way, because they really are so incredible,” she gushed. “But at the end of the day, it’s like I wake up, I’m a mom, I take care of my son, I go to work at night, we have so much fun.”
Lea continued, saying that while those attainments are great, one thing trumps everything. The mom of one said that the fact that the cast is having so much fun on stage matters most.
