Microsoft has confirmed that they will remove 10 titles from their Game Pass catalog. While Game Pass losing games isn’t something new, it is still something sad, especially when those games are good. Some of the great games that are going away are Twelve Minutes, Hades, and World War Z. Amongst others. August 31st will be the last day to play these games. This doesn’t feel like a big blow to Game Pass August games but is still something sad. Especially when most of these games have been critically acclaimed.

Now, the fact that Game Pass losing games is bad, but that doesn’t mean the platform is dying. On the contrary. Microsft has implemented a family share option for Game Pass. Something that they are trying in selected countries. And while PS Plus is also adding some games to the platform, they also lost some. One title that they lost was Persona 5. This might point to the fact that some Persona titles are coming to Xbox. Still, the latest Game Pass August games have been great. And with Microsoft adding more studios to their repertoire, we’re excited to see which other games will make it to Game Pass.
