When a game spoils you the way MultiVersus does, it’s hard to ask for more. Other than Super Smash Bros. and Marvel vs. Capcom, there aren’t many games that let you toss together heroes and villains from your favorite franchises. There are already dozens of characters in the game, but there’s no reason the roster should stop there. Considering how many popular properties WB owns, it’s hard to guess which characters might come to the game in the future. That hasn’t stopped leaks from spilling some details early, however. Here are all the MultiVersus character leaks we’ve seen so far.
Before you start theorycrafting how these leaked characters could tilt tier lists of the best characters for every role, it’s important to remember what they are. Datamining and other leak methods have revealed unused voice lines and other materials that suggest some of these characters might join the game, but there’s a big caveat. As with any leak, much of this info could be outdated (or even faked in the first place). That said, there’s nothing wrong with some playful speculation. Agent Smith brings the MultiVersus roster to 27, but there’s no telling how much the list will grow from there. With any luck at least some of these leaks will turn out to be true. Gandalf vs. the Mother of Dragons could be one for the ages.
MultiVersus is available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
