Recent leaks have shown many of the characters coming to Genshin Impact. This is good and bad because the roster is getting bigger, but players will need to save a lot of Primogems. Yet, HoYoverse is giving players a nice surprise — a free character. You might remember that, during Sumeru’s launch, we got the chance to obtain Collei for free, the first Dendro character. And although several Hydro characters and the Traveler of this element are already available, Genshin Impact’s 4.0 version might give out Lynette for free.
Genshin Impact 4.0 Version Could Give Players a Free Lynette
In 2021, during Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview: Travail, Lyney, and Lynette debuted. Lynette, Lyney’s assistant, might be free when the 4.0 version of Genshin Impact arrives. If you’ve seen the recent trailer, you might’ve noticed some of the dynamics between these two characters. Lynette is the most mysterious of the two, as the official site says something that makes players think she’s not human. Yet, we’ll have to wait and see if the story explains more about this couple.
We’re glad to see that we might get Lynette for free in Genshin Impact 4.0, yet, this isn’t the first time it has happened. While HoYoverse is known for its gacha mechanics and how it monetizes some of its things, the company is also known for giving away a few goodies. We have obtained several skins for free from seasonal events. Overall, the developers have rewarded players with many freebies.

Even if HoYoverse doesn’t give Lynette for free during Genshin Impact version 4.0. According to leaks, this feline swordswoman could accompany her brother Lyney during his banner. We’ll have to wait for the official confirmation, but given how these two have been teased, it isn’t absurd to believe they’ll arrive soon. Hopefully, we’ll see more of them in the future because Fontaine is right around the corner.
