Natlan has been one of the best nations we’ve experienced in Genshin Impact, both in terms of narrative and gameplay. And now comes the kind of bittersweet update where we prepare to say goodbye to it but also open the door to a new adventure. Genshin Impact Version 5.8 will debut its summer event, but will also give us the first breadcrumbs to Nod-Krai, one of the most anticipated locations for all Travelers. Judging by the trailer alone, this update will close Natlan’s story arc with a bang as we move on to new lands.
Genshin Impact Version 5.8 Launches on July 30
Travelers will experience Version 5.8 on July 30, which will be one of the biggest updates in Genshin Impact. For starters, we’ll get the summer event, and you know what that means. A new and permanent location is coming, alongside many mini-games, and the summer drip we all love. Furthermore, one character whom we met all the way back in Mondstadt is taking his rightful place under the spotlight, meaning that fans of Genshin‘s best support character will want to play the event in its entirety.
The Easybreeze Holiday Resort will be the location we’ll visit once the updates roll out. In it, we’ll partake in many colorful activities and mini-games, accompanied by several characters including Mualani, Venti, and Bennett. The latter is one of the two characters who’ll get a new outfit. Bennett’s skin will be available for free by participating in the event, while Yelan’s outfit will be available in the store.
The Road that Leads to Nod-Krai
Speaking of characters, Ineffa is the first playable member from Nod-Krai who will join the ranks in Genshin Impact Version 5.8. She’s a 5-Star Electro polearm user who will be part of the first banner alongside Citlali’s rerun. Mualani and Chasca will appear on the banner for the second phase. Therefore, if you wish to complete your Natlan roster, this is the ideal opportunity.
Besides bringing electrifying new skills, Ineffa will also spearhead the prelude to Nod-Krai, which is the next destination for all Travelers. Outside of the relaxing activities at the resort, Paimon and the Traveler will help Ineffa find more about her past, which will probably open the road for the next chapter in Teyvat.
And if you need more reasons to be hyped, Genshin Impact shared a teaser during the 5.8 Special Program called “Through the Silent Frostbound Night.” This is part of the “Frostmoon Scions” story, so lore aficionados can go wild as things are about to get interesting once we reach Nod-Krai.
Remember, Genshin Impact 5.8 launches on July 30, which means you still have a few days to complete everything in Version 5.7. Whether you want the first Nod-Krai character or just need a few more to complete your Natlan roster, this is the perfect time to pull for all of them and prepare for a new journey.
