Out of all the amazing things that Snezhnaya brought to Genshin Impact, we have to admit that the Archon Quest has been among the best, and it is about to get better. Today, HoYoverse hosted the Special Program for Genshin Impact Version 7.2, and while we are all excited about the two new playable characters, events, and new area, the one thing that made everyone’s jaw drop was the teaser for the new Archon Quest. Besides learning what’s behind Ronova’s machinations and hopefully stopping them, we have an “Archons assemble” moment, where every nation is coming together to save Teyvat.
Genshin Impact Version 7.2 Launches on November 4
While every Special Program for Genshin Impact builds a lot of hype, the one for Version 7.2 was on a whole different level. First, let’s go over the one thing that stole the spotlight: the new Archon Quest. As you all know, Ronova has been doing a few questionable things around Teyvat. Now, it is time for all nations to come together to try to stop this conundrum. We got to see all the Archons and some representatives coming together in Snezhnaya, in what promises to be a mind-blowing Archon Quest, and probably one of the best we’ve seen in the game.
On top of that, we have not one, but two new playable characters—both familiar to players who have kept up with the story. First, we have Mitya, joining as a 5-Star Electro Catalyst character who boosts all Stellar-Conduct damage. Then, we’ll get Valeriy as a 4-Star Electro Sword user who will be able to boost other party members as well as provide shields for everyone. As for reruns, we have Furina joining Mitya and Valeriy for the first half, and Zibai and Linnea coming to the second one.
Furthermore, there are a lot of events coming, including a mining-focused one in Natlan and a filming event in Snezhnaya. Still, the biggest one will require you to unite with allies from every nation to cure wounded soldiers, relay information, and perform different activities to prevent the calamity.
Last but not least, there are also some additions coming to Miliastra Wonderland, including a new masquerade-themed lobby, a free 4-star cosmetic, and more.
So, since Version 7.2 is going to be packed with many things, it is a good idea to wrap up everything you’re doing in 7.1 and prepare for one of the most promising updates in Snezhnaya.
