For the citizens of Mondstadt, Albedo is the Chief Alchemist and Captain of the Investigation Team of the Knights of Favonius. Yet, the Travelers who participated in the alchemist’s events know that he is not even human and that he keeps many secrets. Rhinedottir created Albedo as one of the most intelligent people in Genshin Impact, so he hides the true potential of his build; fortunately, he is on the same team as us. Interestingly, this character seems to be a key piece in Teyvat’s future.
The Best Artifacts
Albedo is not only skilled in Alchemy matters but also being part of the Knights of Favonius in Genshin Impact, he must be prepared for any situation, so he always carries his best build with these artifacts:
| Husk Of Opulent Dreams | This is one of the best alternatives for Albedo, especially without his C2, because it provides the DEF needed for his Elemental Skill scaling. Also, he will get a Geo DMG buff. |
| Golden Troupe | Albedo relies more on his Elemental Skill so this set will improve his Skill DMG. With this set, you can focus more on improving his DEF stat and not so much on Skill DMG because of the effect of the 4-pieces. |
| Archaic Petra | As a Geo character, Albedo and his team can use the increased DEF when creating Elemental Shards. In addition, Albedo gains a Geo DMG buff. |
The Best Weapons
As part of the Knights of Favonius training and from living so long in the outdoors of Genshin Impact, Albedo is a master at using these types of swords:
| Uraku Misugiri (5-Star) | Although this is a great sword to improve the CRIT DMG, those stats could be helpful for Albedo, even though he does not take full advantage of this effect. He will benefit a lot from its Skill DMG and DEF boost. | |
| Cinnabar Spindle (4-Star) | Albedo needs much more DEF to improve his Elemental Skill, so the DEF boost of this weapon is ideal for him. It will also help you to get an extra CRIT Rate and DMG for him. This sword was only available in the Shadows Amidst Snowstorms event. | |
| Harbinger Of Dawn (4-Star) | If you want to increase the CRIT DMG and CRIT Rate, this sword will be excellent once you refine it to R5. | |
The Best Team and Rotation
Albedo is very flexible with his teams, as he works very well with 4-star Genshin Impact characters, although his specialty is working with Geo units:

- Start using Albedo’s Elemental Skill.
- Change to any of your Sub-DPS.
- Gorou should apply his Elemental Skill, too.
- If you have Xiangling, use her Burst.
- Or if you bring Xingqiu, apply Hydro first with his Burs and then use his Elemental Skill.
- Fight until you get enough Energy for Albedos’s Elemental, and remember to have his Elemental Skill active. (If you bring Gorou, try to use his Burst first.)
- Change to Main DPS.
