While Citlali prefers to stay in her room, she’s still an amazing fighter in Genshin Impact. She can provide Pyro and Hydro RES debuff, and she is relatively easy to build. Although she can provide a shield, don’t expect it to be as strong as Zhongli’s. She’s also quite reliant on her Elemental Burst if you want to maximize her off-field Cryo application. Although she’s not perfect, you can use this Ice support build to make Citlali a great sub-DPS.

As a Natlan support unit, the best gear for Citlali in this build is the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City set. You can use two other alternative sets if you prefer not to grind for new Artifacts.

ArtifactDescription
Scroll of the Hero of Cinder CityThis Artifact set is the best for Citlali, especially if you use a Natlan team. This gear will let her use her Burst more often while also boosting her party members’ Elemental DMG Bonus.
Tenacity of the MillelithThis gear is a good option since Citlali is meant to go off-field after using her Skill in this build. The set will boost her allies’ ATK and shield strength even when she’s not actively fighting.
Gilded DreamsGilded Dreams is another decent option since Citlali could always use more Elemental Mastery. The extra Elemental Mastery point will also boost her shield strength since it scales off this stat.

Here are the stats you need for this Citlali build in Genshin Impact:

  • Main Stats:
    • Sands: Elemental Mastery
    • Goblet: Elemental Mastery or Cryo DMG Bonus
    • Circlet: Elemental Mastery, CRIT Rate, or CRIT DMG
  • Sub-Stats:
    • Elemental Mastery
    • CRIT Rate
    • CRIT DMG
    • Energy Recharge

If you don’t have her signature weapon, which is the best weapon for Citlali, there are other alternatives you can use. While they won’t work as well as Starcaller’s Watch, they are still solid options.

WeaponDescription
Starcaller’s WatchBesides increasing her Elemental Mastery, this weapon can apply the “Mirror of Night” effect. It will boost the damage of the on-field character, making Citlali even more useful as a support.
A Thousand Floating DreamsThis is another Elemental Mastery weapon. Buffing her Elemental Mastery is only one of the things this Catalyst can do. It can also buff Citlali’s Elemental DMG Bonus and allies’ Elemental Mastery.
Sacrificial FragmentsSacrificial Fragments is the best 4-star weapon for Citlali. It has Elemental Mastery as its main stat, but its main gimmick is its ability to give a 40 percent chance of ending skill cooldown prematurely.

Best Team Composition

As a Natlan character, Ciltali is a great support unit for Mavuika, who depends on Nightsoul points usage. However, she is still useful in other team compositions that don’t include the Pyro Archon.

TeamMembers
PremiumDPS: Mavuika
Sub-DPS: Xilonen
Support: Citlali
Healer: Bennett
Non-NatlanDPS: Arlecchino
Sub-DPS: Furina
Support: Citlali
Healer: Bennett
F2PDPS: Gaming
Sub-DPS: Xinqiu
Support: Citlali
Healer: Bennett

Citlali is meant to be an off-field support unit, so you won’t need her to be on the field that often. Generally, you want to allow the support characters to use their Skills before switching back to the main DPS, which will deal the most damage. Once their Burst gauges are full, you can bring the support back to the field, but you need to bring out the DPS again.
