This perfumer has an exceptional ability related to her sense of smell. Still, she has also accumulated a lot of knowledge in chemistry to create the most aromatic compounds in Fontaine. Emilie knows how to take advantage of all the resources at her disposal in Genshin Impact, such as weapons and artifacts, to create her best build and team. This is how she can put her knowledge into practice to develop essences and take down some stinky enemies.
The Best Artifacts for Emilie
Among the Genshin Impact items Emilie needs to stock her lab and maintain her build are:
Unfinished Reverie | 4-Pieces: After leaving combat for 3s, DMG dealt increases by 50%. In combat, if no Burning opponents are nearby for more than 6s, this DMG Bonus will decrease by 10% per second until it reaches 0%. When a Burning opponent exists, it will increase by 10% instead until it reaches 50%. This effect still triggers if the equipping character is off-field. |
Deepwood Memories | 4-Pieces: After Elemental Skills or Bursts hit opponents, the targets’ Dendro RES will be decreased by 30% for 8s. This effect can be triggered even if the equipping character is not on the field. |
Golden Troupe | 4-Pieces: Increases Elemental Skill DMG by 25%. Additionally when not on the field, Elemental Skill DMG will be further increased by 25%. This effect will be cleared 2s after taking the field. |
Emilie must prioritize her ATK and CRIT stats, which make her an incredible Sub-DPS. She even works in compositions where she can take on the role of DPS; for this, she should use Unfinished Reverie. Deepwood Memories is best for compositions where Emilie does off-field Dendro damage as a Sub-DPS. However, Golden Troupe is preferable if you want to generate more DMG with her Lumidouce Case.
The Best Weapons
A perfumer should also know how to defend herself, but Emilie has her own style, and because of that, she prefers these weapons:
Lumidouce Elegy (5-Star) | ATK increased by 15%. After the equipping character triggers Burning on an opponent or deals Dendro DMG to Burning opponents, the DMG dealt is increased by 18%. This effect lasts for 8s, max 2 stacks. When 2 stacks are reached or when the duration is refreshed at 2 stacks, restore 12 Energy. Energy can be restored this way once every 12s. The 2 aforementioned effects can be triggered even when the character is off-field. |
Calamity Queller (5-Star) | Gain 12% All Elemental DMG Bonus. Obtain Consummation for 20s after using an Elemental Skill, causing ATK to increase by 3.2% per second. This ATK increase has a maximum of 6 stacks. When the character equipped with this weapon is not on the field, Consummation’s ATK increase is doubled. |
Deathmatch (4-Star) | If there are at least 2 opponents nearby, ATK is increased by 16% and DEF is increased by 16%. If there are fewer than 2 opponents nearby, ATK is increased by 24%. |
The Lumidouce Elegy is Emilie’s Signature weapon, and it’s one of the best alternatives because of the ATK, DMG, and Energy Recharge boosts for Burning Reactions. Calamity Queller is also a good choice because of its Elemental DMG and ATK bonus when Emily uses her Skill. It is also suitable for off-field attacks. The Crit Rate and ATK bonus for Single-target and as a BP weapon make the Deathmatch an ideal 4-star option.
Are Emilie’s Constellations a Must?
Remember that having more Constellation is not necessary, but if you want Emilie’s skills to be even more effective, these are her best Constellations:
C1 Light Fragrance Leaching | Increases the DMG dealt by Fragrance Extraction and her Passive Talent’s Cleardew Cologne “Lingering Fragrance” by 20%. The latter requires unlocking said Passive Talent first. Additionally, when nearby party members trigger the Burning reaction on opponents or deal Dendro DMG to Burning opponents, they will generate an additional Scent. This effect can be triggered once every 2.9s. |
Just by getting Emilie’s C1, she will get a huge increase and an additional attack for her Skill. This Constellation is also excellent for Burning Reactions with only one Dendro character on the team.
The Best Team and Rotation
Emilie benefits primarily from being in Burning teams, as her Skill constantly applies Dendro, even if she is off-field, which increases the party’s Pyro DMG and Dendro DMG. Also, this same Skill is what helps Quicken, Hyperbloom, and Bloom teams, as Emilie’s Elemental Skill will keep the Dendro Aura on the enemies because it recharges quickly. This is why these are Emilie’s best team compositions in Genshin Impact:
Burning Team | Quicken Team | Hyperbloom Team |
---|---|---|
Arlecchino / Lyney – Main DPS Emilie – Sub-DPS Xiangling – Sub-DPS Bennett – Support | Cyno / Clorinde – Main DPS Emilie – Sub-DPS Fischl – Sub-DPS Kazuha / Baizhu – Support | Alhaitham / Nahida – Main DPS Emilie – Sub-DPS Shinobu / Fischl – Sub-DPS Xingqiu – Support |
Emilie is an excellent Sub-DPS, and even with a similar build and team composition, she can be a great DPS in Genshin Impact. So, if you enjoy compositions with the Dendro Element, this perfumer is a very valuable character that you should not hesitate to pull for.
