Genshin Impact Everything Known About Scaramouche So Far
This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Scaramouche, also known as the “Balladeer,” is one of the eleven Fatui Harbingers in Genshin Impact. He made his initial appearance in “Unreconciled Stars,” one of the game’s first events released in version 1.1. During the Event Quest, “The Crisis Deepens,” Scaramouche encounters the Traveler and introduces himself as a simple “vagrant from Inazuma.” However, thanks to Mona’s intuition, she realizes Balladeer’s true identity and helps the Traveler, Paimon, and Fischl escape the scene. Genshin Impact fans learn about Balladeer’s whereabouts later on as it is revealed he traveled to Liyue and eventually back to Inazuma, the region of his origin.

Who Is Scaramouche In Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact Who Is Scaramouche

New players will likely wonder who Scaramouche in Genshin Impact is. The Electro Archon Ei originally created Scaramouche as a test prototype for puppet bodies. This event occurred before Ei created her current and more perfected vessel Raiden Shogun. Unfortunately, Scaramouche was unfit for holding Ei’s Gnosis; therefore, he was left free to roam the world as an individual being.

After spending some time in Tatarasuna, Inazuma, Scaramouche got into a clash with the locals, earning the name Kunikuzushi, meaning “Country Destroyer” in Japanese. Soon, Kunikuzushi encountered the Fatui, who took him in as one of their own. As time passed, Scaramouche was able to unlock the innate power Ei had stored away within his body and eventually climbed the Fatui ranks to the position of The Balladeer, the Sixth of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers. Therefore, to answer the question regarding “who is Scaramouche in Genshin Impact,” he is a cunning yet unpredictable Archon puppet of the Fatui, causing even those close to him to question his motives.

However, those who’ve completed Inazuma’s storyline will know that Scaramouche currently does not have the best standing with his fellow Fatui. This character development arc may expand further with the release of Sumeru in the future. As for his abilities, there is no known information about The Balladeer’s Skill, Burst, or the Element he wields. While there are rumors that Scaramouche is an Ameno Catalyst user, Genshin Impact fans still have no official data about his character details in combat or stats. Furthermore, there is no indication that he will be released as a playable character soon. Nevertheless, there’s no doubt that players will be encountering this mysterious rogue Fatui in the next several upcoming updates.

Genshin Impact is available on PC, Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
