Varka is a name that some characters and NPC mentioned many times, primarily related to the history of Mondstadt, as he is the Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius. Players have never met Varka because since the game started, he has been on a very important expedition for half a year. With the most recent leaks, what looks like a concept art image of a knight appeared, and the Genshin Impact community exploded with theories that the character could be Varka. Let’s hope this knight is already back in his nation and decides to enter the roster of characters.
Genshin Impact Varka’s Concept Art Shows Him As The Grand Master Of The Husbandos
As the Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius, Varka has a vast collection of accomplishments and achievements for his exceptional skills. But he is also someone who relies on others; he is the one who left Jean in charge of the city, worked with Mika on the expedition, and wanted Lisa to be captain. Genshin Impact represents Varka as a character full of experience, but in his concept art, surprisingly, he appears very young.
The Grand Master could be the same age as Wriothesley and, as many expect, have a similar body complexion too. Among other leaks appeared new images of possible new models for males, taller and more muscular than the actual ones. Also, the supposed concept art has a reference image to the Templar Knights for some of the design and color palettes. This Varka has short blond hair, several scars from his fights, and sharp yellow eyes. In the sketch, the character appears to have some facial hair; if this were true, he would be the first character with it.
Many fans hope this concept art will come true and Varka will return from his endless expedition from the other side of Teyvat. But for now, these are only rumors, and if it is an official illustration, it could be a long time before the arrival of the Great Master. Who knows, maybe Varka will appear when Natlan is closer to its debut in Genshin Impact.
