“The Exile” is a two-part Sumeru World Quest in Genshin Impact that involves the Traveler helping a resident of Aaru Village to grow her roses. This World Quest is separated into “The Exile: Sprouting” and “The Exile: Blooming,” both of which grant participants the same rewards upon completion. The total amounts to Adventure EXP ×400, Mora ×40,000, Hero’s Wits ×4, and Primogems ×60 in Genshin Impact. Furthermore, “The Exile” serves as a prerequisite for another Sumeru World Quest called “A Gifted Rose.” Completing this five-part quest series will reward players with a host of various items and currencies, including the Wonders of the World Achievement — “Engraved.”
Completing The Exile in Genshin Impact
To get started on “The Exile” World Quest in Genshin Impact, players must travel to Aaru Village, Land of Lower Setekh, and speak with Sabbah, an NPC located west of the Statue of The Seven. After listening to her connection to her roses, pick any Dendro character and use any elemental attack to apply Dendro to the roses.

Genshin Impact fans can use the Dendro Traveler, Collei, or any other Dendro unit to apply Dendro to Sabbah’s roses during “The Exile,” as the chosen character will not matter. After interacting with the roses, Sabbah will comment on the Traveler’s ability to wield Dendro. Once the dialogue has ended, “The Exile: Sprouting” will end, and players will receive their rewards. To begin the second part of the World Quest, “The Exile: Blooming,” Genshin Impact fans will need to wait a single day, according to YouTuber ON Game. This does not mean players must wait for a 24-period to elapse but is instead referring to the game’s daily server reset, which occurs at different times by region.
After the server has reset, players can then return to Sabbah and speak to her to start “The Exile: Blooming.” Like before, equip any Dendro character and apply the plant element onto Sabbah’s roses to have them grow. Once this has been done, Sabbah will thank the participants for their help and give them their rewards. As mentioned above, completing “The Exile” unlocks access to “A Gifted Rose,” which can be initiated by speaking with Affan, another villager who can be found north of Aaru Village.
Genshin Impact is available on PC, Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
