The Traveler and Paimon find a magician’s secret library in Mondstadt. There, they meet the Concierge, Wolfy, a cute stuffed wolf who takes care of the place. In addition to the Caretaker, there is a strange book that gives access to the Imaginarium Theater, the new endgame of Genshin Impact. Like Spiral Abyss, you get many rewards, such as materials and Primogems, after completing the stages. However, its structure is very different, with new mechanics and challenges to complete.

Only players with Adventure Rank 35 or above can access the Genshin Impact: Imaginarium Theater. This game mode has three difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, and Hard. All difficulty levels have eight stages or “Acts” for each difficulty level and their specific requirements for teams. For example, in the first season, you need at least one character of Pyro, Electro, and Anemo. There are 3 Acts with bosses (3,6 and 8), and the rest are random.

Teams

The Imaginarium Theater has another challenge, where you must create different team compositions. The twist is that the characters will be divided into three distinct roles:

  • Main Cast
When challenging the Imaginarium Theater, players can only choose six characters; those can be their own or those the game provides as a trial. Those with Fantastical Blessings will appear when selecting a character, and these blessings are buffs that can affect the inside and outside of Imaginarium Theater.
  • Alternate Cast
These are eight extra characters with which you can replace your Main Cast characters after each Act or when their energy runs out due to the Vigor System.
  • Supporting Cast
Players can select up to seven characters to lend or borrow between friends and use in the Imaginarium Theater. These support characters have other specific requirements, and players can use them up to 15 times per season.

Vigor System

When you start an Imaginarium Theater challenge, each of your characters will have two stacks of vigor, and in each Act, the characters you use will lose a stack of vigor. In other words, any character will only participate twice during the eight Acts. So, you must be careful with the characters’ energy because that could change your rotation or elemental resonance.

Fantasia Flowers

After completing some of the objectives of each Act, you can obtain Fantasia Flowers, which activate Combat or Companion Events. Combat Events are for fighting, while Companion Events are when you can choose a character to add to your Principal Cast.

Each stage offers materials like Hero’s Wit, Fragile Resin, and Mora. However, the most exciting rewards are the Primogems. Acts 3,6 and 8 give more Primogems, but if it is the first time you complete the Act, you will get extra Primogems. For photography lovers, the Imaginarium Theater gives Medals to exchange for new poses of different characters in Genshin Impact. To get the Medals, you must complete the star objectives in each stage, and to buy the poses for photos, you must buy them in the Wolfy store. Finally, for version 4.7, the players got more content from the endgame and couldn’t be more excited. There is a new way to get more pulls for new characters or just the excitement for those who love challenges.
