Unlike the previous Visions for Lumine or Aether, the Pyro element took longer after three patches in the new nation. However, our MC could replace several of the favorite Pyro characters. The Pyro Traveler kit was finally officially announced, and the Genshin Impact fan community is already discussing which team works best for them. Don’t worry; you can still bring your Bennett. On the other hand, Xiangling and Thoma could find themselves very close to the fire with this change.
The kit shows how the Pyro Travelers’ abilities can place them as a new sub-DPS in Genshin Impact. From the description, the Traveler can deal with Pyro DMG with an AoE or be an off-field unit by leaving their attacks active. Because of this kit, many believe the Pyro Traveler can be ideal in Burning and Burgeon teams with Kinich. Xiangling and Thoma are the 4-star characters that typically occupy that position.
The main point is that the Traveler might not be ideal for a Burning team with Kinich. Xiangling is a better alternative because of how fast she applies Pyro. However, the Pyro Traveler could replace Thoma, Dehya, and Xiangling for Burgeon Teams. Because of each character’s Internal Cooldown (ICD), the Traveler does not need as much energy, and Thoma or Xiangling require more Elemental Mastery (EM).
There might be a better alternative in Genshin Impact for the Pyro Traveler, but only if you have Mavuika. Usually, the Traveler has “limited” versions of the Archons’ powers, plus Mavuika is a 5-star character and is a DPS. Still, no matter what, it’s exciting to see Lumine or Aether get their sixth Element. There is finally some competition for characters who have been kept in many teams for years. For example, Xiangling appears in teams like the National, Baalnational, Melt, and many more.
