Alright, Travelers, we all know that our adventures in Nod-Krai have come to an end, at least for now, and it is time to start moving forward. However, before the imminent arrival of Snezhnaya, which has already been teased, we need to make one quick stop in the Dendro Nation. That is right, Version “Luna VII” of Genshin Impact will take us back to Sumeru to solve one unexpected crisis, but we won’t do it alone. Several familiar characters are joining the fight alongside some new and long-awaited members that many players will want to add to their team.
Genshin Impact Version ‘Luna VII’ Launches on May 20
In case you missed today’s Special Program, HoYoverse unveiled Version “Luna VII” called “Truth Among the Pages of Purana,” which is the next chapter in the Traveler’s story, taking them and Paimon back to Sumeru. In this new adventure, Nahida falls into an unexpected sleep, and an enemy who looks a lot like Il Dottore is wreaking havoc across the nation, meaning our Travelers will have their hands full for a while. However, they won’t face this new enemy alone, as there are new characters joining the playable roster.
First, we’ll get Nicole, the long-awaited first playable character of the Hexenzirkel, who is a 5-star Pyro Catalyst user. She’s an extremely helpful support unit, bringing buffs and shields to allies. Alongside her, Lohen will arrive as a 5-star Cryo Polearm user and will bring the might of the Knights of Favonius with a DPS-oriented kit. And if that wasn’t enough, Prune, the “Witch Hunter,” also joins the roster as a 4-star Anemo Catalyst user. Nicole and Prune will be part of the first phase alongside Durin’s re-run, and Lohen will arrive during the second half alongside Mavuika.
On top of new characters, we’ll also get a new event revolving around Klee’s Little Hexenzirkel with QiQi, Sayu, Yaoyao, and Prune tagging along for this event full of mini-games. And of course, players can expect the usual log-in rewards, as well as 560 Primogems for completing the new Archon Quest.
And last but not least, we also got a short yet shocking new teaser of Snezhnaya, showcasing some of the possible Cryo abilities for the Traveler, as well as a brand-new outfit for them and what seems to be a new weapon. However, there’s still some time before we learn what will happen in this new region, so we’ll have to wait for more official reveals.
In any case, the story of Genshin Impact is moving forward with Version “Luna VII,” so make sure to wrap everything up before traveling back to the Dendro land on May 20.
