Genshin Impact Who Is the Dehya Voice Actor
This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

One of Sumeru’s most anticipated playable units is the Desertfolk mercenary of The Eremites, Dehya, and Genshin Impact fans are undoubtedly eager to know more about her backstory lore and her CV or voice actor. While most players only focus on gameplay and story, many anime enthusiasts relish removing the virtual separation of Genshin‘s roster and learning who are the talents behind the characters. Some might see this behavior as somewhat odd, but it is certainly understandable for fandoms deeply invested in a specific VA and the cartoon characters they voice. Accordingly, knowing which Japanese actress is the CV for Dehya in Genshin Impact is certainly worthwhile knowledge for such fans.

Dehya CV Revealed in Genshin Impact

Dehya VA Revealed in Genshin Impact

It has been revealed that the Japanese CV or voice actor of Dehya in Genshin Impact is Ayaka Fukuhara, a renowned actress with many years of experience in anime series and video games. Some of her more well-known works might be Rin Shibuya from The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls, Bismarck from Azur Lane, and Chika Misumi from Princess Connect! Re:Drive.

To the average Genshin Impact player, such information about Dehya’s VA will not likely influence them regarding whether they will pull her or not on her release. On the other hand, avid fans of Ayaka Fukuhara will undoubtedly be delighted that their favorite or cherished CV made it into the world of Teyvat. As for Dehya’s English voice actor, miHoYo has yet to reveal any official information. Of course, those with keen ears and clever research methods could probably guess who is the real-life voice behind Dehya. However, without the confirmation of the developers or community, players are in the dark until more info is revealed.

As for Dehya’s in-game abilities, it is currently known that she is a Pyro unit, thanks to the Vision dangling from the back of her apparel. Furthermore, she appears briefly during Sumeru’s Archon Quest and mentions that she received a new Greatsword, which likely implies what weapon players can expect to use her with. By inspecting her player model, it is evident she is a “tall female,” similar to Jean or Yelan. Regarding Dehya’s Elemental abilities, players will just have to wait until her official trailer or announcement is revealed during her scheduled banner, which hopefully is not too far off.

Genshin Impact is available on PC, Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
