An Airbnb host in Atlanta, Georgia, shared how guests left her unit, criticizing the overall cleanliness of the place. However, many pointed out that the apartment was actually left in pretty decent shape, with some even praising how clean the guests were, even though they had paid for a cleaning fee. Therefore, the internet did what it does best: roasting the host instead.
The clip was shared online by TikTok user weekendstayatl, the aforementioned Airbnb host. After a two-night stay, the Georgia Airbnb host showed and “yapped” about the state of her unit after the guests left.
First off, she showed the living room. The guests had used blankets and refused to eat some chocolates she left out for them. Overall, she said that she “can’t really complain,” as the room was actually in pretty good shape.
Then, she went on to inspect the kitchen. “Not too bad, not too bad,” she said, as she noticed its cleanliness. The host noticed her guests had used the coffee and drank all the water bottles in the fridge. She then found that they didn’t take the trash out. However, she cut them some slack, as she does not require her guests to do so.
The Georgia woman continued her inspection and saw that both the dishwasher and the oven were in decent shape. The guest room looked fine, although she did notice the guests had left garbage in the trash can. When checking the bathroom, she noticed that all toilet paper rolls were gone, and asked her followers if that was normal.
Not In A ‘Cleaning Mood’, Reactions
Regarding the main room, she did say that it “definitely could be more tidy.” Pillows were on the floor, and the bed was not made, although this is irrelevant since the bedding is probably going to be washed after all. Then, she was somehow overwhelmed by the state of the bathroom, although it appeared to be clean.
“Yeah, ma’am. Probably gonna have to get someone to do the bathrooms. I ain’t doing this brah,” she said, later adding that she was not in a “cleaning mood.”
Her clip garnered more than 2,000 comments. The overwhelming majority of users were adamant about roasting the Georgia Airbnb host because they found that she was too petty about how the guests left her unit. To them, they did a pretty good job, given that they had paid a cleaning fee, which only fueled their anger.
“Were they not suppose to use anything?” one user asked. Another one said, “Where is this, so I never book it?” A third one added, “I can’t stand Airbnb owners.”
