In a way, it seemed like a fictional thing and something that would never happen in real life. That’s where we were wrong. In a TikTok video shared by user jabernathy10, we can see firefighters in Rome, Georgia, playing a prank on police officers. The thing is that this prank, beyond being funny, is one of the most amazing things we’ve seen involving skillful water balloon throwing.
As you can see in the above video, several firefighters in Georgia gathered to create a giant slingshot to fling a water balloon at a police officer’s car. One would think these things only happen in cartoons or movies, but the fire department has some wild skills. They managed to throw the balloon with such surgical precision that it landed on the police officer’s car, which is quite the feat. Since the balloon only seemed to contain water, this can be seen as a harmless prank, and frankly, it is nice to see these two departments engaging in playful behavior like this.
This gathered the attention of many viewers who think the police officers should retaliate one day while also mentioning the tremendous skill of the firefighters.

The above statement is true. If the police officers of Rome, Georgia, want to get some “revenge,” they are going to need to top that shot. It is unbelievable how accurate that balloon was, and props to the firefighter who took the shot.
Ultimately, it is nice to see these friendly and harmless interactions between both departments. Most of the time, we tend to see bad news involving people in these occupations. For once, it is nice to see something lighthearted and relatable. Hopefully, this rivalry will continue because right now, the scoreboard is Firefighters 1 and Police Officers 0. Retaliation is due if you ask me.
