A 19-year-old healthcare worker from Loganville, Georgia, was recently arrested on Tuesday after posting a viral video of her “sexy dance” on top of her disabled patient’s head– multiple times.
The healthcare worker in question, Lucrecia Kormassa Koiyan, was even seen wearing her nursing scrubs and a stethoscope while performing the dance over the different patients, suggesting that she kept doing it during work hours. In one of the clips, the Koiyan was even performing the dance in the bathtub with the half-naked disabled patient right under her.
In the videos, a total of two disabled patients were shown, with Koiyan filming her dance using her phone and a large mirror. The police have managed to determine the location of the first patient and used it to track down Koiyan’s whereabouts.
The Loganville Police Department then took action quickly after getting tipped about the disturbing videos on January 23. Koiyan was booked into the Walton County Jail following the arrest on Tuesday, January 28, and was promptly served a felony charge. The authorities are also now investigating the background of Koiyan’s licensure and business.
No Remorse from the Healthcare Worker?
As per Loganville police Chief M.D. Lowry’s statements, the healthcare worker was working as an in-home adult daycare employee at the time of the arrest and during the viral video performances. Additionally, Lowry had to publicize his own comments regarding the nature of the incident:
“I was appalled and disgusted that anyone would create such a video featuring a disabled person. As police officers, our highest duty is to protect those who cannot protect themselves, and my detectives worked as swiftly as possible to bring charges in this incident.
Our detectives are working with several other jurisdictions to determine the location the second video was filmed. At this time, we cannot say with certainty that the video was filmed in our jurisdiction, but the investigation is ongoing,” according to Lowry.
According to USA Today, Koiyan is now in the process of being released after posting a $7,500 bond on January 29, soon after her arrest. The healthcare worker in question has also yet to appear before a judge and doesn’t seem to have an attorney representing her at the time of writing.
Meanwhile, Koiyan’s mugshots have been released to the general public, with many people noting that despite the arrest and the charges, Koiyan could be seen somewhat smiling in the mugshot. Some have further accused Koiyan of having Zero remorse because of her apparent reaction.
