A Georgia woman named Sandy Moore is sharing a chilling story of something that took her completely by surprise at her own home recently. The Atlanta native revealed that she was terrified when she spotted a masked person creeping in her yard, and after taking to the internet to find out more about her encounter, others have also been spooked by the scary strangers who seem to be straight out of a horror film.
In her TikTok video, Sandy claims that she walked outside of her Georgia home to let her cat back into the house one night. When she did so, she was startled by a person standing in her yard. As if that alone wasn’t scary enough, the person had a “cream-colored bag” over their head and a rope tied around their neck. “I know I’m not crazy,” she told her followers.
“I posted a video 2 weeks ago about walking outside and calling my cat at 10 o clock and seeing someone standing in the dark with a white bag over their head with a rope and my dog had been going crazy for 2 days,” she captioned the post. “This video below or picture is exactly what was in my yard that night. The sheriffs office where I live has made this post with a video,” she added.
Georgia Woman Spooked By Creepy Masked Person During Scary Encounter
Following her own eerie encounter, Sandy went on to explain that after several days of hearing nothing else about the creepy strangers, her local sheriff’s department made an announcement telling residents to be on the lookout for three masked people, one of whom matched the description of the person she saw in her yard. She also shared a photo of the post the police made public about the individuals.
“I have chills. I am scared, and this is not funny,” she stated.
In the comment section, people told Sandy that she needed to protect herself and her family. She revealed that they were “armed,” and that she was investing in flood lights and security cameras for extra protection and safety.
The Local Police Are Looking For The Individuals
One TikTok user pointed out that Sandy’s scary encounter sounded like the plot of the horror film, The Strangers. Sandy agreed and vowed to never watch that movie again.
“You’re living in a horror movie. Please be aware of your surroundings,” one person commented.
“I’d start closing the blinds and curtains before dark and bring the cat in before dark too! That’s soooo scary!!! And be ready he comes back!” said another.

The Georgia woman is now seemingly taking every precaution in case her unwanted visitors return. Until they’re caught, it’s unlikely she’ll feel at ease in her own home.
