My fellow Trailblazers, it is time to pack your bags. During the latest Special Program for Honkai: Star Rail 3.0, HoYoverse unveiled the release date for our next major adventure. With the Land of Dreams now officially behind, the Astral Express crew is making a stop at Amphoreus. New characters, the longest Trailblazer Mission ever, a plethora of events, and more await every player joining this expedition in the coming weeks. So, get your team ready because this journey will be one for the history books.
Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 Launches on January 15 With Two New 5-Star Characters
Let’s focus on the important part first: the new characters. Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 will debut The Herta during Phase 1 and Aglaea in Phase 2. But that’s not all. For the first time ever, HSR will have four 5-star banners running simultaneously during each Phase, for a total of eight banners in Version 3.0. This is the breakdown of the characters coming in each Phase:
- Phase 1:
- The Herta
- Lingsha
- Feixiao
- Jade
- Phase 2:
- Aglaea
- Boothill
- Robin
- Silver Wolf
This update will be one of the hardest for Trailblazers because it packs some of the game’s best characters. During Phase 1, Lingsha and Feixiao are almost must-pull characters, with Jade being amazing for Erudition teams and one of the best units for Pure Fiction. For Phase 2, Robin and Silver Wolf are extremely helpful in many compositions and anyone should try getting them, too. However, Aglaea is the new character on the block, so picking between all of them will be tough. But if you have enough Stellar Jade, well, why not try getting them all? Also, remember that the Remembrance Trailblazer will be available as well, so prepare for a character galore.
A Land Brimming With Rewards
One thing that might surprise many is how the story that will kick off during Version 3.0 will last all the way until Honkai: Star Rail reaches its Version 3.7, making it the longest Trailblazer Mission we’ve had. With the amazing plot of Penacony, we are all excited to see what’s in store in Amphoreus as we’ll spend a lot of weeks in this new destination. As you know, these missions provide players with a lot of that sweet Stellar Jade, and speaking of which, there are many events featuring that currency coming our way. From puzzle-oriented events to others focusing more on combat encounters and the usual Gift of Odyssey, Trailblazers will have plenty of currency for their pulls.
Last but not least, March 7th is finally getting her long-awaited outfit, which will be free for anyone who logs in once Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 goes live. You might remember this outfit from version 1.4, which is when we got Aetherium Wars. Now, players will finally see our cheerful Astral Express member with her new outfit. Also, this one is for March 7th in her Preservation Path, so March 7th: The Hunt’s outfit will remain unchanged.
We can all agree that these are all pleasant surprises for all Trailblazers and an amazing way to kick off 2025. Since we still have a few days left, you can still save some of your Stellar Jade for Amphoreus and start building your teams for this new interstellar journey.
