Since the launch of a new free-to-play model for Rocket League, fans have been eagerly awaiting the new additions to the game. With the absence of a summer event, the community has been waiting for something more substantiating since the Pele celebration earlier this weekend. Finally, the team at Psyonix is crafting a whole new Halloween event for this year’s spooky festivities. As a big fan of the seasonal events, it’s always neat to see what they can come up with, which this year means a returning collaboration with Ghostbusters. Featuring all-new kinds of wheels and cosmetics, the event is full of that iconic flair of the franchise. Announced in a YouTube video is a sneak peek at some of the cosmetics headed to Rocket League starting tomorrow.

Giving us a quick glimpse and detailed look over in their blog post; Rocket League is adding more than a few additions to their Ghostbusters lineup. From wheels with the iconic logo to Slimer toppers and boosts, the event adds so many new unlockables. There’s even a chance to snag some old school items like the Ghostbusters car, the Ecto-1. While the switch to the credits system over the crate and keys has changed the game’s economy, this will be the first time a licensed car is making its way back for new players to grab. Using the same challenge system from the Llama-rama event, the support for the new version of Rocket League has been moving along smoothly.

Featuring a new haunted arena as well, Haunted Hallows is bringing back Heatseeker. One of Rocket League’s best limited-time game mode for a few days until replaced by Spike Rush on October 26th. The event lasts until November 2nd and is playable on all consoles and PC through the Epic Games Store. Will you be jumping into this spooky event? Let me know in the comments below!
