If you thought Ghostwire: Tokyo had cast its last spell, that isn’t the case. The previously PS5-exclusive game has come a long way and landed on other platforms. While the game had a one-year deal with Sony, the title has landed on Xbox and PC. We all knew the game and a new free update were also coming to the abovementioned platforms. After a short wait, the Spider’s Thread update for Ghostwire: Tokyo is here. Bethesda has launched a trailer showcasing some new areas and abilities players can acquire. If you have the game, you should get all of them because you’ll need them to fight the new enemies.
Ghostwire: Tokyo Spider’s Thread Update Adds New Enemies, Areas, and Skills
This new patch brings many things to enhance this already fantastic game. While it isn’t the best or biggest game that Bethesda has launched, it still has some great things that keep players hooked. One of the best things about the game is its setting. The fact that you’re fighting ghosts inspired by Japanese folklore is already eerie and scary enough to keep players around. Besides that, the combat has a nice flow, and you’ll find a sweet spot between fighting and exploring soon enough.

If you want to play the Spider’s Thread update of Ghostwire: Tokyo, you can do it for free on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. One great thing about this game is that if you let it pass when it initially launched, you can play it for free on PlayStation. The game became one of the free titles in March of 2023 that many PS Plus users could claim. This makes sense because of the exclusivity contract ending, similar to what happened with Deathloop. You should try this game now and enjoy the latest update that extends almost all aspects of the game for free.
