Actress Gina Carano has joined many in criticizing Susan Sarandon for posting a Nazi Germany quote similar to the one that got her into trouble with Disney. Carano was fired from The Mandalorian last year for a quote that likened criticism of conservative political views to the atrocities done to the Jewish people in Nazi Germany. This week, Susan Sarandon came under fire for retweeting a poem that reads, “It didn’t start with gas chambers. It started with one party controlling the media. One party deciding what is truth. One party censoring speech and silencing opposition. One party dividing citizens into ‘us’ and ‘them’ and calling on their supporters to harass them. It started when good people turned a blind eye and let it happen.” Carano joined the critics with a meme from the movie Robin Hood: Men in Tights, which can be viewed below:

Should Susan Sarandon Get the Same Treatment As Gina Carano For Nazi Germany Quote?
According to Bounding Into Comics, Sarandon is facing far less criticism and calls for cancellation for her Nazi Germany quote than Carano did with hers. While the conservative Carano lost her role as Cara Dune on The Mandalorian (which upset many fans), the liberal Sarandon’s career continues to thrive. She is presently starring in the Fox series Monarch, and she will soon be returning to voice work on Fox’s animated series The Movers. Critics appear not to be as critical of Sarandon herself as they are of Hollywood for what they consider to be a double standard based on politics.
Gina Carano’s Career After Nazi Germany Quote
Since Carano’s Nazi Germany quote, she hasn’t had any big Hollywood roles. However, she has continued to act. She recently starred in Terror on the Prarie, an exclusive film from conservative media outlet The Daily Wire. She also starred in My Son Hunter, a film distributed by the far-right media outlet Breitbart.
