God of War Ragnarok winks at players for the release day. The title, one of the most anticipated games of 2022, will be out of the pipeline in the coming weeks. As known, Santa Monica and PlayStation fulfilled the players’ wishes and released God of War in 2018. The reboot of the iconic series was a wise decision, and the title left its mark on the gaming industry. Meanwhile, it also managed to score 94 on Metacritic. Now the franchise will continue with God of War Ragnarok, and the game received a launch trailer ahead of release next week.

God of War Ragnarok Launch Trailer Revealed

PlayStation has released the launch trailer for the upcoming God of War Ragnarok, showing some of the returning cast, including Kratos, Atreus, Freya, Týr, and more. The trailer is 30 seconds long and confirms that the title will include Kratos’s son Atreus as a teenager in the adventures. Besides, the players will be able to control Atreus to help his father with tasks, puzzles, combats, and more. It also details characters like Freya and Tyr.

“Join Kratos and Atreus on a mythic journey for answers before the prophesied battle that will end the world. All the while, the eyes of Asgard watch their every move…,” the YouTube description reveals.

During the last State of Play event, we saw new bits that will be in the God of War Ragnarok story. We saw Tyr, a new character, Thor, and more for those with a keen eye for Norse mythology. If you are a gamer who only wants this game for the story, you’ll be spending 20 hours finishing it. However, if you want to complete everything and get that Platinum trophy, you will need around 40 hours.

God of War Ragnarok will be released for PS4 and PS5 on November 9th, 2022.
