Goldeneye is one of the most memorable games in history. The game, based on the James Bond movie of the same name, is hailed as the birth of first person shooters on consoles. It utilized the Nintendo 64’s analogue stick and brought with it a compelling single player campaign and 4-player split screen deathmatches.
As influential as the game was, it has not aged too well with the textures and environments looking particularly blocky by today’s standards. However, one smart guy named Jude Wilson, decided that all the game needed was a new engine!
Jude Wilson has recreated one of the environments from the original masterpiece within the Unreal Engine 4. Although there is no actual gameplay, Goldeneye has never looked better! Check it out below.
