Google has announced that GYLT and Metro Exodus will join the free games lineup for Google Stadia. Anyone who has an active Stadia Pro membership can claim the games for February and take on two different styles of single-player adventure.

GYLT and Metro Exodus Join Stadia Pro Free Games Lineup

GYLT, from Tequila Works, follows a young girl who must confront her fears and hide from monsters to survive. You must navigate a series of environments and uncover clues of your missing cousin.

Metro Exodus is the third game in the Metro series, which is based on the books by Dmitry Glukhovsky. While the first two games primarily had the player exploring the subways systems of Moscow after a nuclear war, Metro Exodus takes action outside the tunnels as they navigate across Russia via train to survive.

GYLT and Metro Exodus provide different takes on a single-player narrative, from a third-person puzzle adventure to a first-person survival shooter.  However, they both have strengths that work well with the Stadia platform.

To obtain the free games, you must be an active Stadia Pro subscriber. If you are, all you must do is open the Stadia app and claim the games.

Google has followed the trend of services like PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live by offering free games every month to subscribers. For instance, last month, Stadia Pro members could claim Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration and Thumper.

In addition, Stadia Pro members can get special deals on certain games. Right now, you can get 60% off Mortal Kombat 11 until February 5, and 40% off Just Dance 2020 until February 4.

While other games in the Stadia lineup have been on other platforms for several years, GYLT is exclusive to Google Stadia. If you were looking for something to bring you to the service, this might be a step in the right direction.
