DC Universe’s New Gotham Knights Features

Gotham Knights is an entirely new story placed in the world of Batman. Since we’ve always played Batman, this will be a bit different, as we are now playing to find clues to Batman’s death. You will be playing in a world where the streets are no longer kept safe by Batman, and you must figure out why. All the while, you’ll be dodging and fighting the criminals that now plague the streets.

Now, you can play as 4 different characters, each with unique and individual play styles. Really, the way your gameplay changes all depends on who you choose to play as.

How to Disable Security Cameras in Gotham Knights

One thing you’ll need to learn to do early on in your adventures through the DC Universe and one of 4 Gotham Knights is to disable security cameras.

  1. The first thing you’ll need to do is perform an AR scan.
    • This will show you exactly where each security camera is in your area by making them light up.
  2. When you do your AR scan, each security camera will typically be emitting a faint blue light in the form of a line.
    • Each of these lines will meet up at an electrical box.
  3. Your next step is to locate the electrical box.
    • To actually disable the security cameras in Gotham Knights, you will have to hack the electrical box, which needs to be done by Batgirl.
    • It may be wise to choose Batgirl as your character when first starting out in the game, as it will make her functions highly valuable in this and other similar situations.
  4. Make sure to disable security cameras as often as possible in new areas, as you can go undetected much easier when they aren’t working.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
