Here is what you need to do to get legendary gear in Gotham Knights – get the best weapons, costumes, and chips for your characters!
Rarity levels classify the equipment in our character’s inventory in Gotham Knights. Starting with costumes and continuing with ranged weapons, melee weapons, and even modification chips, each item can range from standard to legendary, the rarest quality, and, obviously, the most powerful.
As you progress through the quests and level up, you will likely wonder how to get the legendary rarity equipment. It is very unusual to find, and the truth is that there are specific methods of obtaining it.
How to get Legendary Gear
Note that the legendary rarity equipment in Gotham Knights is obtained randomly, as with the rest of the equipment in the game (and individually for each character), so it is not something wholly guaranteed to get it. However, several methods increase the chances of getting equipment of this rarity.
Here are the methods by which you can receive legendary equipment in Gotham Knights:
Perform Very High-Difficulty Crimes to Get Legendary Gear in Gotham Knights
When you reach level 30, premeditated, highly difficult crimes will spawn throughout Gotham. They are marked with a red icon.
High-difficulty crimes are the only ones likely to reward you with legendary rarity equipment.
You can take a look at these crimes in the map view and check if, among their rewards, there is legendary equipment.
Head to the golden icons on the map and solve the crimes to get random equipment of legendary quality.
Defeat Gotham’s Most Wanted Criminals to get Legendary Gear in Gotham Knights
Another excellent method to get more legendary gear is to go after Gotham’s most wanted criminals, a series of unique enemies that can only appear in very high-difficulty crimes.
From level 30 onwards, it is possible to encounter the most wanted criminals in crimes of very great difficulty.
These criminals are not always guaranteed to appear but are random.
You will recognize them because they have a unique name on their heads (and also, when one appears, defeating him is another objective in the crime to complete).

Complete Particular Contact Challenges to Get Legendary Gear in Gotham Knights
Finally, another method to get more legendary rarity gear is to complete challenges for Gotham contacts. That is Detective Montoya, Lucius Fox, the Penguin, or the Guard people.
Occasionally, starting at level 30, contact challenges can reward you with equipment of legendary quality.
Please look at the possible rewards from the map view of these challenges (they appear in white icons).
If you see gold-colored rewards, feel free to go and talk to the contact to accept their challenges or claim their rewards.
