Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney was definitely going for a sparkly, festive look as she stunned Instagram in a short skirt and thigh-highs last winter. Posting as the holiday season approached, the 28-year-old rocked another stylish ensemble as she shared selfies to her social media, and fans have left her over 55,000 likes.
Rocking glittery thigh stockings to accessorize a monochrome outfit complete with a pleated miniskirt, McKayla channeled schoolgirl vibes as she upped the holiday feel, also telling fans that she was doing “winter things.”

Posing in front of a mirror as she opened her gallery, McKayla flashed her toned legs and slender waistline as she modeled a thigh-skimming white miniskirt paired with a block-color shirt in black and white.
Accessorizing her blouse and skirt look via a black blazer, the California native spiced things up with black thigh stockings in silver glitter fishnet fabrics, with fans eventually seeing that they fed into heeled boots. The pantaboot style adored by mogul Kim Kardashian also seems popular with this fashionista!
Doing ‘Winter Things’
Wearing her dark locks down and adding in silver jewelry, McKayla also included a snapshot of her manicured nails in one slide, here opting for a festive green shade.
“My baby’s in town and we’re gona do some winter things ❄️✨🪞,” she wrote in her caption. Fans aren’t sure who the “baby” might be, though.
Shortly before her leggy share, McKayla updated her Instagram in a stunning brown dress as she championed the peephole trend. Addressing her 1.4 million followers, the Gold Medal winner wrote: “Didn’t post anything for Halloween but my hair has looked like Jane Jetson for a month now. The person who cuts my bangs wont text me back.🥲 Hope your November is starting off blessed.”
McKayla posts to her main IG and also via her Glowy by McKayla account. The latter discusses all types of health and wellness, from skincare and gut health to mental health.
Last December, McKayla addressed eating disorders, speaking as a survivor.
“Work on being more realistic, rather than 100% perfect or it’s not worth it. That’s extremely dramatic, and just not true. Your health and happiness are always worth it. Change this mindset, and find a way of eating you CAN be consistent with,” she told readers as she discussed the deadly anorexia and bulimia, plus binge eating illnesses.
“I have many tips around this subject, that I really need to start sharing. Especially binge eating because I know it plagues wayyy too many people’s life,” she continued.
