Gypsy Rose Blanchard continues to bask in the joy of motherhood. The Internet personality who took a step back from the Internet after welcoming her daughter recently teased fans with a new life update.
On Monday, Blanchard gushed about her motherhood journey on her Instagram Story. “With every kiss, with every lullaby, with every cuddle, I heal my inner child,” she began.
“I’m slowly starting to finally heal the wounds of a bloodline I didn’t ask for; through the eyes of a child I was blessed with.”
It is no surprise she feels this way, given her tumultuous relationship with her mother, Claudine “Dee Dee” Blanchard. Blanchard, a victim of Munchausen by proxy, endured years of unnecessary medical treatment. Unfortunately, in 2015, she was charged with second-degree murder and sentenced to 10 years in prison for her role in the killing of her mother. After eight years behind bars, she was released on parole on December 28, 2023, given the chance to start clean.
Exactly one year after Blanchard’s release from prison, she gave birth to her daughter, Aurora Raina Urker. Proud father Ken Urker broke the news of the little one’s arrival on New Year’s Day via an Instagram post.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Slams ‘Fake Baby’ Rumors With Anger

In July, Gypsy Rose Blanchard first broke the news that she was expecting her first child with her fiancé, Urker. In an interview, the Munchausen by proxy survivor described her conception as a “second chance.”
“All the things that I wanted in a mother, I want to give to this baby. I thank God every day that I am now having this second chance at life with a kid of my own. The way my mother parented me is definitely not the way I’m going to be.”
Unfortunately, Blanchard’s motherhood journey often faces intense criticism from trolls, who believe she faked her pregnancy. Weeks ago, the 33-year-old broke her online hiatus to set the record straight. “NO, the baby in the picture with Ken and I after birth is NOT a doll or fake baby!” she slammed. Also, the Internet personality addressed comments about using weight loss drugs for her postpartum body.
“NO, I am not on any weight loss medication (I just look damn good for postpartum, hate me cause you ant me)🤷♀️,” she wrote. “I’m addressing all the rumors that content creators spread.”
Usually, Gypsy Rose Blanchard often has to come online to combat critics. However, seeing her share her joy with millions of followers in her latest update is a breath of fresh air.
