Hailey Bieber shows off her beach body in sizzling lingerie to promote her new pineapple cleanser but the internet has had enough. The model officially launched the new Rhode pineapple cleanser last week, ushering it in with a series of racy snaps of herself on the beach. The concept behind the pics stirred a heated debate on the gram. While most considered the Spongebob-inspired photoshoot as a creative way of introducing the Pineapple product, others condemned the campaign as a mere excuse to pose in scanty clothing yet again.
Hailey Bieber Ditches Clothes for Promotional Beach Snaps
With her Rhode pineapple refresh in the market and kicking, Hailey Bieber shared fresh photos showing off her beach body to boost sales. The model opted for a white bra top and string bikini bottoms during the photoshoot. She rocked the skimpy getup alongside a pair of ruffled feather winter boots and a matching headband. Posing for the first snap, the Rhode Skin founder stooped gracefully beside a coconut tree adorned with colorful Christmas lights. She assumed a standing posture in another shot while a third picture showed Hailey flaunting her backside on a lounge chair.
Hailey Bieber was joined by another model in one of the photos, both women wearing matching lingerie on the beach. She also posed indoors, wearing only a white T-shirt and no pants, with a pineapple cake in front of her. The caption read,
“The last of the @rhode calendar 🤍 Miss November x Miss December. Pineapple Refresh cleanser available now on rhodeskin.com.”
While the pics no doubt held Hailey Bieber’s usual bland allure, netizens faulted the photoshoot for several reasons.
Hailey Criticized for Posing in Lingerie for “Irrational” Campaign
Several fans utilized the comment section to slam the Rhode Pineapple cleanser campaign. According to them, the snaps, supposedly aimed at marketing the product had nothing linking it to a cleanser or refresh. For one, none of the photos showed Hailey using the skin product or even showing a trace of what the said product looked like. Rather, the campaign featured endless snaps appearing to market Hailey Bieber’s beach body or perhaps, the lingerie she rocked for the shoot. One user commented,
“I like you but don’t you ever get tired of being unoriginal and copying constantly?”
Another wrote,
“All this for face products?? You’re not being rational”
A third critic commented,
“More of a fashion advertisement than a skincare ad.”
A fourth wrote,
“How does staying naked have anything to do with cleanser?”
Several commenters pointed out that such bikini photos were “unusual” and not normal” for a skincare company like Rhode, especially when intended to market a face product. Netizens also brought up Hailey Bieber’s previous Rhode Campaign and how she always opted for hot lingerie looks no matter what was being promoted. Regardless, many gave Hailey the thumbs up,admiring her poise and beauty while also commending her team for such stunning snaps.
