An Alabama Amazon driver was confronted by a man while delivering a package to his neighbor’s house. He accused her of driving onto his property and repeatedly demanded she leave. The confrontation left viewers debating whether he had a real grievance or completely overreacted.
Shared to TikTok by @jenniepoohthomas, the video shows the man yelling at her from outside her vehicle. “Get off my [expletive] land! This is not a [expletive] road,” he says.
She responds calmly, telling him he didn’t need to curse her out and that he shouldn’t approach people the way he did, since he has no idea what kind of day they’ve had, and pointing out that running up to her car like that could have gotten him hurt. Though that does little to alter the man’s countenance.
The Alabama driver informs him that her vehicle has cameras and that she plans to report the encounter. He insists he doesn’t care and instead continues demanding she get off his land.
The Yelling Started Fast
His hostile tone right out of the gate was the first thing that set commenters off. Some said they’d retaliate by cutting him off from future deliveries entirely. “I would report his address as unsafe so quick, he ain’t ever getting another Amazon package again lol,” one wrote. Others went further, saying they’d have thrown the package in his face or cussed him out right back.
Plenty of viewers questioned why she stuck around and kept engaging instead of simply walking away. “Why are you sitting there arguing with him, leave,” one asked.
One commenter tied the confrontation to a bigger reason they’d left delivery work in the state altogether. “The reason why I quit, I delivered in Alabama too. They are a different kind of rude & racist,” they wrote.
Some viewers focused squarely on how disproportionate his reaction seemed given she was simply doing her job. “He act like you’re not doing a JOB! Wtf. That ridiculous to overreact over something just because he ‘own it’. Like you drove over his garden or something,” one posted.
Not everyone sided with the driver, though. A few argued the man’s frustration wasn’t entirely unfounded, pointing out that delivery drivers sometimes cut across grass or driveways they shouldn’t. “In his defense he has probably a legit gripe because those Amazon drivers go a lot of places they shouldn’t,” one commenter shared. Another argued she should have recognized from the start that the path wasn’t actually a road.
That said, the driver made a fair point when she reminded him that he had no idea what kind of day she was having when he approached her car like that. We never know what someone else may be dealing with, and a little patience can go a long way.
