This unexpected discovery is thanks to a user called CollectorMan, who uploaded the entire 264-page book on January 31, with a file size of 867.2 MiB. The quality of these scans isn’t poor either—you could easily turn the artwork into wallpapers if you wish.
The Assassin’s Creed Shadows art book is officially set to be published on March 31. However, the full book has already been leaked online, despite Ubisoft planning to release it in two months. It contains numerous artworks and concepts that players can expect to see in the game. While reading this book after playing the game is one thing, going through it beforehand may reveal spoilers about the game’s content.
Players can expect to see artwork featuring Kyoto and Osaka. The book also contains character concepts for various characters in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, such as Hattori Hanzo, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Momochi Sandayu. In addition, there are character artworks of key historical figures, as well as some Portuguese Templars.
Redditors on the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit were quick to notice the leak. None of them are fazed by the fact that the Assassin’s Creed Shadows art book has been leaked. However, they find it funny that someone decided to upload the files to a hentai website. “‘Art book leaked’ Oh, that’s neat. ‘On hentai website’ Wait, wat?” one Redditor joked.
Indeed, CollectorMan didn’t just upload the Assassin’s Creed Shadows art book. This user has uploaded several other art books to the website before, including The Art of Skull and Bones, The Art of Star Wars: The Mandalorian (Season Two), The Art of Dave the Diver, and more.
Other Redditors said that it’s common to find art books on hentai or porn websites. “E-hentai unironically has a very good database of artbooks and promotional materials under the non-h tag lol,” one Redditor commented.
