Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Warzone integration is probably the worst, to the extent that some players are praising Vanguard and MW2 in comparison. However, you can still hop into a game and enjoy the match in normal game modes, while Warzone Ranked Play is off the menu because of its rules that blame the players for the game’s issues.
As reported by Charlie Intel, if you’re playing Warzone Ranked Play and the game crashes, and there are several reasons for that, the game gives you a 15-minute suspension. I’m not a Warzone Ranked Play fan since it doesn’t feature any cool rewards to grind for, but I tried playing for a few hours and ran into a game crash once, and yes, I was given a few minutes of suspension from the game mode.
Plus, you’ll lose SR for this because the game literally thinks that you’ve left the lobby. Even if you get internet interruption and the game stops working, you’ll still receive the suspension and SR penalty. Worst of all, you can’t rejoin the match because the game doesn’t let you. Not to mention that you’ll have to wait for ages for a Ranked Play match to begin with less than 100 players some of which are our friendly neighborhood cheaters there to ruin our game.
As of right now, there’s no fix for this problem and official Call of Duty accounts on X have not reported anything in regards to the Warzone Ranked Play issues. Our best guess is that Black Ops 6 Season 2 will bring some of the fixes we’re looking for, and fingers crossed that the good stuff doesn’t get bombed with the new bugs that’ll be added to the game with that update.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone is expected to be released on January 28, 2025, according to the S1 Battle Pass.
