Stealth games are constantly lauded as having intricate and unique systems to allow players to maneuver their ways through missions covertly. Whether it’s Metal Gear Solid or Dishonored, this feeling of being hidden from sight is integral to many titles. Most recently, IO interactive has been doing its best to keep up with Hitman content. After releasing the first in 2016, IO Interactive set down a new trilogy for their rebooted series. Pitting Agent 47 in more ludicrous scenarios than before, this new series would bring the franchise to some unseen heights for a long time. After announcing the Hitman 3 year 2 DLC, IO Interactive is looking to bring the Hitman experience to more players. Bridging their existing content with a new package deal certainly entices players to try out the esteemed assassin game. Announced via Twitter, IO Interactive is releasing Hitman Trilogy, a brand new compilation including Hitman 1-3 set to release for Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox Game Pass.

HITMAN Trilogy includes all three games from the World of Assassination. Available digitally on January 20 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Epic Games Store. As well as Steam and Xbox Game Pass.

When Does The Hitman Trilogy Release On Xbox Game Pass?

Despite criticism last year about the always-online DRM for their GOG release, bringing the games to a new platform is certainly exciting. This release marks the first time Hitman 3 will be available on Steam. The announcement of a brand new compilation package is certainly surprising to hear. After the Hitman 3 year 2 DLC announcement, players were certain IO Interactive would instead move onto a new iteration. Yet, the Hitman Trilogy is including the best Agent 47 moments from the past 5 years. While the DLC for each game is not included, the base content offers quite a lot. With 3 individual Hitman titles, this provides more than enough entertainment while the newest game still receives content updates. Releasing on January 20th, fans don’t have to wait too long until IO Interactive Hitman Trilogy is available to purchase and play.

So what do you think of the Hitman Trilogy heading its way to Xbox Game Pass this January 20th? Let us know in the comments down below!
