Hogwarts Legacy is one of the most anticipated games of next year. Especially the Harry Potter fans are very excited about that AAA game incoming. As we heard before, developer Avalanche Studios is working on something big. Even now, the game’s content seems satisfying, but its size is a problem for the developers. It was known the game would be released on the same date for every platform, but it’s different now. The recent announcement came from the studio sharing a different release date for new generation consoles. As the update claims, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch users will play Hogwarts Legacy delayed.
The game will be released for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch. The release platforms are the same, but the current-generation users will play Hogwarts Legacy later than we thought.
Hogwarts Legacy Gets Delayed on Some Consoles
The announcement tweet says that the game will be released on April 4, 2023, for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. And Nintendo Switch release will be on July 25, 2023. It seems like the development is getting slower than expected, and Warner Bros. wants the game as soon as possible. They also chose not to delay the new generation. Instead, they delayed the current-generation versions. Considering the game has a big open world and an incredible level of detail, we would like to see its potential first.
February 10, 2023, is the release date for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series. The consoles will be running the game in high quality, and the PC’s maxed-out settings will be the best experience of Hogwarts Legacy. The game is priced at $59.99, but it’s not open to pre-orders yet. It’s also known the game will gift some special items to the pre-orderers. We hope to play it without any other delays.
